Sunscreen kills aquatic life

One of the greatest deceptions of our time is the lie we have been told about the sun and that it causes harm to our bodies. It has only been a sliver of time that we have added so many synthetic chemicals in and on our bodies. This is the true reason for sun damage, not the rays themselves. When the sun is shining, it is giving a full spectrum of colors and wavelengths that is done in a balanced fashion. When studies have been produced about what one certain wavelength can be done it fails to acknowledge the effects when all of these different types of rays are combined together. The pharmaceutical and medical industries now hold the most wealth in the entire world. Their goals are not to keep people healthy but rather to keep them dependent upon the system. So why not create a bunch of false information to scare people away from the sun and put toxic compounds on the largest organ of our body.

The skin is part of our endocrine system and our endocrine system controls our hormones and neurotransmitters. Sunscreen has been shown by countless studies and reports that it contains carcinogens and wreaks havoc on our endocrine system. In 2023, there were a huge number of these products recalled because of the damage that it was causing. The damage that it causes to humans is just one factor to consider and the other is the environmental damage being done. Because of sunscreen, many coral reefs around the world have been experiencing death and bleaching. Coral reefs are absolutely vital for the health of the oceans and for our planet. Humans and coral reefs have many similarities and we share much of the same DNA. If something can be so damaging to coral reefs and we share most of the same DNA, wouldn’t it make sense that this would also be toxic for us and could potentially be killing our cells?

The problem with all of this is that we have been led astray about these products and the sun. To add to this many people do not care to protect the environment. If you would like take action in the protection of our coral reefs and the ocean, here are a few pieces of advice for sun protection. First, your melanin is like a muscle and it needs to be worked out to the sun. If you have a fair complexion, you need to slowly build up your tolerance to the sun so that by the time summer comes your skin can handle the light. Second, avoid anything citrus before going into the sun, as this causes the blood to be acidic and will react with the sun and potentially make your skin red. Coconut oil and olive oil will actually help to protect your skin even though we have been told differently. There are many pharmaceutical medications that react negatively to the sun and can also cause your skin to turn red so read if it is something that is “phototoxic”. Another reason why your skin can turn red is because of diet and hydration status. It is very hard to burn in the sun if you have a healthy diet and are properly hydrated.

We really all do have to do a better job at protecting our home and all the biodiversity that is contained within. The microcosm is really a fractal reflection of the macrocosm.
